Look of the day: MAGICAL NOVEMBER

It's November. (OMG OMG OMG it's November)
I have a feeling like September isn't over yet and we are still not deep in this serious... business. And the reason for that would probably be because (and let's all assume/remember that I am and always will be a perfect example of a totally unorganized human being) (although I write everything down... and plan ahead...and so on... but still) I figured - I'm young, I'm in college, I have an oportunity to do everything I want right now, so why not join every club and start doing five new things? Cause, hey, studying? Oh, I'll have time.
Yeah. It's not like that at all. 

So for a month I've been having this totally irrational argument with myself (about pretty much everything)... while trying to settle into this new apartment (you can talk as much as you want, but it takes time to adjust to all different little things), figure out this crazy college schedule and lesson plans, and also forcing myself not to quit at least half of the things I mentally envisioned myself doing. 
And in all that, there were visits, parties, coffees, and a kind of enjoying-life-in-general type of thing. Plus, it turns out my friends all started going to college at the same time, most of them fresmen as me so it was kind of a hectic schedule for even seeing them. The result? Blog suffered a bit, although I gotta say I'm pretty amazed by your regular visits throughout October - thank you thank you thank you.

But now I'm back, I'll post regularly, I'll post only what I feel is of enough quality and I'll write and shoot with all my heart. That's kind of what I wanted to explain - either I do this right, or not at all.
So better be it a shorter pause than a long time of shitty texts and bad photos.

Look of the day: COUNTRYSIDE + GIVEAWAY

When I got a gift from a London-based internet shop max c, I experienced quite a shock. 

I've never been a fan of jumpsuits (although somehow I have a thing for those worn on the red carpet) and floral print was never something I gave much of a thought. (I think the only floral-printed garnment I posses is a white jacket with a pink print, but those are some big flowers there) 

So when I opened my package one morning and saw a floral-printed jumpsuit, I was... hmmm... petrified. confused. shocked. thinking "what the hell am I gonna wear this with?!"

But after several hours/when I got back to it, I realized it is a perfect little piece for the beach. You know, a bikini, a jumpsuit and a hat. Maybe throw in some lovely canvas tote and you're all ready to catch some sun.

The problem was - the nearest beach is some 250 kilometers away. 

So... I left the jumpsuit hanging on the door of my closet so I it's right there where I can always see it - a method I use when I can't think of an outfit to go with a garment - and an idea came up.

I wanted the whole look to be captured a little bit more editorial so we did it at the countryside and I'm quite pleased with the result.

Also, it was the first time in a very long time I put on my Converse - and now it seems I can't take them off. 

Update: after two days in a row I spent wearing my Converse, my feet are killing me - I'm back to sky high heels

Look of the day: HOW I ROLL

Today's discovery: old attics are a great place to shoot outfits. 
When I think of it, this one especially since it's my go-to combination for a casual night out in the city. Love how the old bricks give a charm to the whole look.
For me, the beginning of autumn is a great opportunity to style my summer pieces and tone them down with  jeans which, let's be honest, is not my favourite piece at all.
Roll them down so your heels pop, and you're ready to go!

Look of the day: YELLOW DRESS

Another set of photos from the shoot we did on Pag. I think the last photo is the one that for me pictures my stay at Pag the best. The stone walls decorated with vibrant-colored wooden blinds and strong sunshine are what will probably be engraved in my memory forever. (That and partying, but partying is soon to be continued)
I wore this dress a lot during the last year, it's perfect for birthday celebrations. And it's great item for accessorizing.

Look of the day: FLOWER DRESS

I have a few things to talk to you about, but first let me again apologise for being away a lot. It's killing me to have to do it and I can't wait for the summer to start to shoot all day every day, and just do something I really enjoy. (Cause I sure as hell don't enjoy this insane pressure)

So, I finished high school on Friday, we had a big party that lasted all day and for some all night. (I couldn't walk any more at about 10pm so I just went home and slept for 18 hours straight) 
I can't believe it's really over - I've been talking about it with my friends for six months or so and the conclusion always has been "We still got time". And on Friday we all became aware that this huge part of our lives is over. I don't know whether I'm excited (you know, to be able to sleep and stuff + this summer's gonna be the longest up till now) or totally freaked out (my finals start on Wednesday) or sad because of all the people that made my four years in high school a beautiful experience. I met some of my best friends there - two of which sat next to me for the last four years. I will definitely miss grabbing coffee after school, flipping through pages of Vogue during certain classes, constantly laughing at someone or something, frenemies... You know, all those little things that make life great.
To my classmates - I know you're reading this - I love you all.

Now about the dress. I know you want to know about the dress. It was actually a gift from my dad who took me shopping last week to relax a bit. (I also got a beautiful parka I'll show you really soon!)
It was the first thing I grabbed when I entered the store, I have a special radar for pink stuff and you've already seen how much I love long dresses - so there you have it, pure magic.
I decided to play in photoshop to get a certain retro soft look. Love all the blue shades in the photos!

THE RED DRESS

I hope you all finally get why I took a leave of absence from outfit posts... I just wanted you to be really eager when you see this. I think this is already one of my favourite posts, and it isn't even done yet. 

Okay, to explain. These are obviously not taken by me nor people who usually take my photos. They are a product of a photoshoot I did with my friend Luka. We wanted to achieve a certain fairytale look, but in our own way and I really like how it turned out. 
I bought this dress in Vienna in December and I have been waiting for six months to finally get to wear it. It's really feminine, and also versatile - I wore it to school combined with a denim jacket and flats, and if you wanna look more glamorous you can easily style it up with heels and a bejeweled jacket. 
Also, whenever I think of maxi dresses, I immediately visualize super pretty long earrings.

So, as you can see here, as we were in the woods and I always kind of associate fairytales with easiness and loads of light, I kept things simple and wore my Forever21 dress with simple vintage necklace and bracelet and Tommy Hilfiger flats.
