Look of the day: SPARKLES

To continue in the Christmas mode from the last post (my holidays just started today, I'm so happy ohhhh) (Or better said HO HO HO) let's sparkle it up a bit, huh? (Okay, I don't know if this is even a verb/phrase/something but since it's Christmas in 5 days I can be a little foolish)
If I asked you about where I took these photos, would you say outside or inside? I would say somewhere outside. Somewhere so cool.
And actually it's inside. In my apartment. (Hah! I have a cool apartement!)
To talk a little more totally unrelated to anything - can't wait to go home on Saturday and start baking cakes and I decided to do a little DIY project with my Christmas ornaments. Yay! 
Okay, what else? Oh yeah, Christmas is somehow in my mind linked to:
#1 color red
#2 sparkles (but everything in my life is somehow linked to that so yeah)
#3 movieeees!
So that should be enough of an explanation for the photos, right? :)

Ohhhhh and I wanted to ask you a really important question! - Last Christmas (my second WLL Christmas, this is so cute!) I asked you about your favourite traditions. 
This year I ask you about what your favourite movies to watch around Christmas are. (Everyone who says Harry Potter gets extra points)

Oh, I almost forgot:
the sweater (which is my no.1 choice for NYE at the moment, it's just oh-so-magical) is Chicnova, earrings are vintage, bracelet is from H&M and heels are from Zara

PROM INSPIRATION

Okay, first, gotta say I'm dealing with an ear infection here so no outfit posts for now. (It's mild, but still, no school, no work, just tons of "Aaaaauch")
But, in my defence, I wanted to do this post for some time now and finally got the time to go over some of the photos I gathered and fill the collection in order to post everything here.
I was wondering whether I should do a collage or just post the photos and surprise surprise (this one actually is) I decided to just post them, no collages, so you can slowly soak up the glam. I am gonna do more of prom inspiration posts in the future as I see a lot of my readers are around my age, so hey, that many more dresses can't hurt, huh? 

Now you're probably wondering what am I going to wear to my prom. (Which is soon) (And no, I don't have a dress yet) (From all the things I have to buy - dress, belt, shoes and clutch, I only have the belt and I am working on the clutch) (Well, kind of working) (Okay, I'll explain that later) 
Well, I have no intention what so ever of telling you what I'll be wearing. I can only tell you the colors. But not today. (Mostly because I still haven't figured out which color I want my shoes to be) (I am really biased when it comes to glitter & green so it's kind of hard to give anything else a chance) 
I can only tell you that in the beginning of the whole prom process I had a brilliant (which turned out not to be so brilliant after all) thought. One day I woke up and figured "I'm gonna suit up!" (Barney Stinson style)
In my mind the suit was white (I think I still have a photo saved in one of my thirty thousand folders in a folder called "Photographs") (It's quite fascinating actually, my room looks terrible, really terrible, but I am a perfectionist when it comes to my computer and everything is very well organized) (I freak out when I see someone has a full inbox of unread messages on FB, it's disgusting)
I don't really know why I ditched the whole suit idea after all. Maybe it was the heat. (In the middle of winter, I'm wearing only a sweater, to me it's always ten degrees warmer) But I think it was just that I wanted to look at the photos in ten years and remember how I looked like a princess, not a dude. (Not literally, but you get the whole point) 
Or, and I think this was the real reason, it was that moment when I saw my future dress coming down the runway that changed my mind. (Here's your hint, it's gonna be my vision of a designer dress) 

I think this is enough for now because:
a) my ear is killin' me
b) I am taking this whole talking-too-much thing on a whole new level;
so just to explain the photos - for me the prom is a special event which is all about dressing up and I look at it as a reward for all the hard work we are putting into finishing this damn final year. So in all the breaks in-between study sessions I tend to sneak a peek at all the sites that inspire me - from internet shops to quite obvious like style.com & magazines. Ohhh, all the talking got me so exciting again, I hope you enjoy all the glam & the bling...

ALL THINGS BIRTHDAY

My birthday is a week from today - which means all I think about is my birthday and all things birthday-related.  I still can't believe it's just seven days away, I remember thinking how I'll never turn 18, not in a million years, and look at me now, all grown up. Yeah, apparently I am supposed to be ;)
As I'm totally daydreaming 24/7 the last two days and also totally having a really nasty cold (means: I look/feel/sometimes act like a crazy mammal and sleep too much) I just gathered all the photos that sum up the perfect birthday for me - some crazy obvious and some just so pretty they fit so much to one's birthday.
We can all dream a little, huh? And in a week I'll have my day of the year when I'll be a princess for a day. You only turn 18 once!!

All I want for Christmas...

To finish the sentence - All I want for Christmas... is a Chanel no.5 and a certain someone, it's not Christmas yet and I already have half of it in my hands... Sounds like a good start, huh?

Ohhh, I totally wanna wish you a beautiful, happy and sparkly Christmas! And also, I want to thank every single person that visits this blog on a regular basis for making my days seem pretty good, you know? ;)
I wanted to share my favourite things to do on the day before Christmas:
- make glittery christmas decorations and have my hand all glittery which make my whole room all glittery which make my whole apartmenet all glittery which makes me insanely happy (and left with no clean clothes!!)
- bake cookies, preferably with chocolate (who am I kidding, chocolate is the only ingredient)
- watch same old christmas movies filled with happy endings (mine is every role in Love Actually) (And The Holiday) 
- drink insanely hot tea and then spice it up with some hot chocolate
- go through December issues of Vogue
- remember the past year and sing the magic christmas songs 

What are your traditions? & What do you wish for this year? (Ohhh, I totally sound like Oprah!!) (& totally is my word of the day today)
