The BIRTHDAY

So, as you must know by now (I've been talking about it for weeks!!) – yesterday was my birthday. It was all I could wish for and even more. The sparkle, the pink and the cake, it was all there.

Woke up at 10 (that was a gift by itself, never get to do that), sipped coffee with my best friends and headed to school to find all of my dearest friends (and classmates) waiting for me with chocolate cake with the number 18 on it. We ate, sang (every period another magnificent performance of Happy birthday) and had a lot of fun!! I got a tiara – a tiara!! And flowers and balloons (the pink set of baloons was actually the second I got, the first was waiting for me when I woke up!!) and the faux fur coat I'm wearing in the latter photos. We went out for drinks after and had a blast and when I got home a professional tripod was waiting for me on my bed – my parents really know how to make me scream with excitement. After all that, I was so tired I fell asleep dressed. (make up on, totally ashamed for that) 

Such an amazing day!!

Tomorrow – the post of the first set of gifts (as I'm hosting two birthday parties – one this Saturday, the other on 18 February, a lot of gifts have yet to come!)

I'm so awfully sorry for the poor quality of the photos – none were taken by someone who has a clue what they're doing and they were all a spur-of-the-moment thing. Also, half of them were taken in chem lab while we had our first period there. (that's the reason I'm surrounded by bottles!!)

RANDOMNESS

As you are all quite aware of, my opsessions tend to change. A lot. (That's what makes me special) (And so funny, ah!!) Today I was thinking about the ones that didn't fade through the time and that define me as a person. My latest obsessions in terms of clothing is fur - yesterday I found a beautiful white fur + leather jacket. Pure perfection! (Gonna buy it) (Really soon) (Yeah, yeah) (I'm kind of into writing songs today, too) (Yeah, yeah) (See?! Soooo talented!!)

And in terms of lifestyle - I started watching One tree hill again. (It's genius, I forgot how genius it is, really!!) (All the high school drama kind of takes your mind of the real high school you go to) (And you get an extra portion of drama next to your own) (Seriosly, genius!!) That doesn't mean I started wearing sneakers, but soon, just to tell you, I'll start to have a serious crush on Peyton and black will take on a whole new dimension. (This is a warning!) 

And it kind of reminded me of all the things I love and that inspire me (you know, because of Lucas and basketball, Peyton and art and music etc etc.) so I decided to share some of them with you. (I'm so random today I'm hilarious) 

And, oh, what do you think about the bleached hair trend? Green or pink? Or no-no? And what do you think I think? Well, i have to tell you, I LOVE IT. It makes me wish I had long hair!

The most important thing about dreams is having one

Today was a bit of a struggle, and as were the days before. I don't know how it is in the rest of the world, but here it's just so damn hot I don't have anything to wear. It's like summer's lasted for a year. And I hate summer - it just ruins all the possibilites of choosing layers and layers of clothing and boots, oh boots - I miss ya! 
So, instead of wearing some autumn/winter pieces, I can only dream about some. And in my head it kind of looks like this:

BATTLE OF WINTER WONDERLAND

classic chic (madame clean lines & signore black and white) vs. girly pretty chic (lace, fur, glitter, texture, volume, color!!!)

Round 1:
Has to go to classic chic because of a promise I made to myself to keep myself from the sparkly stuff this winter (what was I thinking???!!!)

Round 2:
Have only one word for you madame clean lines - FUR

Round 3:
Can I wear a glitter tux and still be a classic chic gal?

Round 4:
Lace is classic???!!!

Round 5:
Color + black and white works?!!

Round 6:
Ohhh the long capes, how I adore you.

Yeah, McQueen beats Wang. From Alex to Alex: Sorry Alex.

Round 8:
I'll just wear my undies.

Round 9:
I'm gonna mix a white cape with a snakeskin print bag.

Oh. My. God.  I KNOW!!!
I'm just gonna let my inner Daphne Guinness decide for me to wear only couture!!
